About Me
My name is David Bowie. I live in Oceanside, CA. I have been in Sand Diego all my life. My childhood was pretty normal. I have three brothers and one sister. Growing up in San Diego in the 60`s was fun and scary. I remember hanging out with the older crowd at a very young age. As a young child I remember lots of Birthday and Christmas`s with lots of presents.
As I was saying, I hung out with an older crowd at a very young age. Seems to me, that`s when the trouble started. As a youngster, I never really seem to fit in. With the older crowd, they would give me some beer and I would fit right in. I`ll never forget that warm fuzzy feeling that alcohol would give me. Little did I know that in the years to come, it would one day turn on me and cut me to pieces.
I picked up my first drink at thirteen years of age. I drank a whole quart by myself and preceded the throw up. Then I drank another. I should have known that this was not normal. For twenty- Seven years I had to drink daily in order ti feel normal. Along the way I tried various sorts of drugs.
Then, in 1984, I went to prison for five years for armed robbery. At the time of the robbery, I was high on wine and PCP. During my five years in prison, I decided that I would only drink. So when I got out of prison and took a drink, it gave me a craving for drugs. Needless to say, I was sent back to prison for a year.
I was released and had the great idea to go to college and that would keep me out of trouble. So I enrolled in college, took up computer science and graduated with an A.A. degree tops of class with a 3.96 avg. About a month after my graduation, I was back in prison and bitter. I probably should have stayed in college and went for my P.H.D. :)
This time I was very bitter and thought it was my right to drink and use drugs if I wanted to. I was dealt a bad hand. If you had my hand, you would drink too. I remember my parole officer telling me to either go to A.A. meeting or back to prison. Well, I did not want to go back to prison, so off to A.A. I went.
I went to one meeting and all they talked about was drinking, so quite naturally I was thirsty and drank right after the meeting. I went back to my parole officer and told him I would rather go back to prison. Is that sane or what? So back to prison for another year. The year was 1991
To make a long story short I finally got sober in 1996 and have been sober ever since. I was fortunate enough to land a job washing cars at a local Auto Auction. I left that job in 2006 as a Senior Manager. All the while, I was honing my skills in Internet Marketing. I knew their was a gold mine on the internet and I was sure to get mine.
With riches to be made, in June of 2000, I made my first website. It failed. For six years, I kept failing but nothing deterred me. I kept learning and stayed focused. In 2006, I bought a website for one thousand dollars. The first week it brought in one thousand three hundred dollars. I had arrived!
For the next three years, I kept expanding on my new found wealth to the tune of twelve hundred per week up to today of this writing. I left the Auction business to pursue my dreams in internet marketing.
So far thing are good. I will probably never get big like the guys at Google but I like the freedom it gives me.
I wanted you to know a little about me and maybe your story is like mine. I feel lucky to be able to get the right information on how to market online and truly blessed to help others do the same. There is just too much hype now a days about making money online. I just saw a site the other day that proclaimed that you could make fifteen thousand dollars a month with no website and no product and people are dumb enough to buy it.
Seriously, if you are looking to make an extra twenty to sixty dollars a day, I can help you. If you want to make one thousand dollars a day, in all honesty I can`t help you although I have had thousand dollar days but it is not the norm.
